ABOUT ME
My name is Luke Burhans, and I am the founder of Hawkeye Hoops Focus. I am a University of Iowa student passionate about sports media, journalism, and storytelling. I started Hawkeye Hoops Focus to provide Iowa basketball fans with news, analysis, interviews, and in depth coverage of the program. What began as a passion project has grown into a platform reaching thousands of fans through social media, podcasts, video content, and our website. My goal is to continue growing Hawkeye Hoops Focus into a trusted source for Iowa sports coverage while building connections and creating new opportunities in sports media.
